ACCOMMODATIONthe welcome party, ceremony, and reception will be at the cararah family home.we recommend staying in parikia (easy access to restaurants and shops) or close to the house. there are a lot of great hotels, airbnbs, and vacation rentals close by. if you have any qs, just shoot us a text or email.here is a marked map you can reference. If you stay within or close to the boundaries, you'll be a short walk from the house or transportation.if you're booking through airbnb, you can use this preset search.transportation
we will be providing shuttles to the wedding events from a designated pick-up spot in parikia on august 27, 28, 29, and 30. for getting around at other times, or if you are staying far from the pick-up location, car and quad rentals are available on the island, as well as a car service you can pay for per trip. we can connect you with yiannis to help arrange a rental or the car service.

FAQS
scan the qs below. if you have one that isn't there, just text us or email [email protected].
can i bring my kids?
totally up to you. we want this to be the best trip of your entire life. do what you need to do to be able to relax and enjoy your time.
please let us know in advance if your little ones are coming.do i need to organize transportation?
since taxi access is pretty limited on the island, we will have shuttles to the wedding events running from a designated meeting point from aug 27 to 30.
if you are arriving earlier/staying later and would like to rent a car, we will connect you with yiannis and he will hook you up with a cute little fiat panda. heads up, most cars on the island are manual, so act fast if you need an automatic. you can also rent quads and scooters around the island, but keep in mind, most roads are not paved or well-lit at night.what can i do on the island between events/before and after?
paros is small but packed with a million great beaches and restaurants. we've put together a fun little google maps map here (don't skip arodo). you can filter through them using the tags.
note on beaches you have the option to visit either serviced or unserviced (public) beaches. serviced beaches provide an umbrella and two sunbeds, along with food and drink service. these typically cost anywhere between €30 and €90 per umbrella for the entire day.BUT ALSO, every serviced beach has a public section that is free to access. on our trips, we like to enjoy a mix of both.what do i wear?
for your day-to-day, think linen, breezy, earth tones with hints of blue i.e. loro piana spring/summer 2025
the dress code for the ceremony and reception is, as curtis puts it, look as hot as possible aka pretty formal but island. we're thinking nice linen suits and flowy mid/long dresses. who doesn't love a pinterest board?what's the weather like?
the weather is usually pretty warm this time of year. paros is known for its windy behaviour, so we recommend bringing a light layer to keep you warm in the evenings.
but what am i eating?
truly the best food you will ever eat. the island is full of incredible food and we have some recommendations in this map (again...don't skip arodo).
how do i give you a gift?
curtis said we shouldn't put anything here, but really, the only thing he wants is rainier beer. that being said, we’re so grateful you’re coming all this way to celebrate with us.
if you’d like to give a gift, a monetary contribution toward our new life together, or something from our wish list would be greatly appreciated. but seriously, you truly are our gifts forever!euro tips
for those who are landing in europe or greece for the first time, we have a couple of tips for you to enjoy:
- it's great to have some cash on hand to score deals at shops, on rentals (if you book some), etc. restaurants and serviced beaches will take card (and won't give you a discount).
- don't forget your adapters for the plugs. greece uses 230v.
