faqscan i bring my kids?
totally up to you. we want this to be the best trip of your entire life. do what you need to do to be able to relax and enjoy your time.our ceremony and reception dinner will be child free, so please let us know in advance if your little ones are coming. we will have childcare set up so you can enjoy the evening.do i need to organize transportation?
since taxi access is pretty limited on the island, we will have shuttles to the events running from designated meeting points and the airport from aug 27 to 30.if you are arriving earlier/later and would like to rent a car, we will connect you with yannis and he will hook you up with a cute little fiat panda. heads up, most cars on the island are manual. you can rent quads and scooters around the island, but we prefer cars as most roads are not paved or well lit.what can i do on the island between events/before and after?
paros is small but packed with a million great beaches and restaurants. we've put together a fun little google maps map here (don't skip arodo). you can filter through them using the tags.note on beaches you have the option to visit either serviced or unserviced (public) beaches. serviced beaches provide an umbrella and two sunbeds, along with food and drink service. these typically cost between €20 and €50 per umbrella (with two beds) for the entire day.BUT ALSO, every serviced beach has public sections that are free to access. on our trips, we like to enjoy a mix of both.what do i wear?
for your day to day, think linen, breezy, earth tones with pops of blue i.e. loro piana spring/summer 2025the dress code for the ceremony and reception is, as curtis puts it, look as hot as possible aka pretty formal but island. we're thinking stunning linen suits and flowy long dresses.what's the weather like?
the weather is usually pretty warm this time of year. paros is known for its windy behaviour, so we recommend bringing a light layer to keep you warm in the evenings.but what am i eating?
truly the best food you will ever eat. the island is full of incredible food and we have some recommendations in this map (again...don't skip arodo).there will be nibbles at the welcome party, a lunch at the med sea hang, and a full family-style greek dinner at the reception.how do i give you a gift?
curtis said we shouldn't put anything here, but really, the only thing he wants is ranier beer.that being said, we appreciate that you're coming all this way to celebrate with us. you are our gifts forever. thank you, next.euro tips
for those who are landing in europe or greece for the first time, we have a couple of tips for you to enjoy:
- it's great to have some cash on hand to score deals at shops, on rentals (if you book some), etc. restaurants and serviced beaches will take card (and won't give you a discount).
- don't forget your adapters for the plugs. greece uses 230v.
